Actor and filmmaker Yul Edochie has shared reasons behind his continued support for President Bola Tinubu as conversations around the 2027 presidential election slowly begin to grow.

Speaking during a recent interview, the Nollywood star said his political choices are deeply connected to his personal beliefs and convictions. According to him, he does not make decisions based on pressure from social media or public criticism.

Yul explained that he believes every individual has the right to support any leader they believe in, even when others disagree. He added that his backing for Tinubu comes from what he describes as spiritual conviction and personal understanding of the country’s political direction.

The actor also noted that he is aware many Nigerians hold different opinions about the current administration because of the nation’s economic struggles and security concerns. However, he maintained that he would continue to stand by his decision publicly.
