Media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown has opened up about why she left Harvesters International Christian Centre, tracing it back to the end of a relationship with a fellow minister at the church.

She shared the details during a recent podcast appearance with Pastor Bolaji Idowu.

According to Afolabi-Brown, she and her former partner were both active in ministry at Harvesters. She served as head usher while he held a ministerial position.

She said the breakup affected her deeply and made it too difficult to stay in the same congregation.

Afolabi-Brown noted that Pastor Bolaji Idowu personally pleaded with her to stay, but she stuck to her decision to leave. "Pastor Bolaji begged me not to go, but I refused," she said.
