Victony is back in teaser mode. The Nigerian Afrobeats singer shared a short preview of an upcoming track titled "Slick" online, and fans have already declared it a future banger. 

The snippet carries a moody, sensual energy that has listeners on a loop, with reactions ranging from breathless pleas for a release date to the now-standard "arrest this boy" verdict that tends to follow when Victony delivers. 

The track is produced by Ozedikus, the Lagos-based beatmaker best known for producing Rema's debut hit single "Dumebi" in 2019 and whose production credits have since expanded to include Wizkid, Oxlade, Tiwa Savage, and Ladipoe, among others.

The preview arrives roughly two years after Victony released his studio album Stubborn. The project, released on 21 June 2024 through Encore Recordings, featured guest appearances from Asake, SAINt JHN, Teezo Touchdown, Shallipopi, Ktizo, and Shorae Moore.
