Nigerian singer Mavo has stirred reactions on social media after sharing screenshots of a direct message from a female fan who asked him to buy her an expensive wig for her sign-out ceremony.

In the messages posted on his Instagram Story, the fan repeatedly appealed to the singer, writing: "Hi Swag bag! It's my sign out on Friday, can you please get me this hair? In Jesus name." She later followed up with another message, saying it was her second day of asking.

After not granting the request, the fan reportedly sent him a message saying, "You let me down."

Reacting to the exchange, Mavo shared the conversation and jokingly replied, "Cuz I can't let her up," a playful response that quickly attracted attention online.

The post has generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users finding the exchange humorous while others debated whether celebrities should be expected to fulfill such requests from fans.
