Shoday Explains Why He Has No Tattoos Despite His Rising Music Career
Fast-rising Nigerian singer Shoday has opened up about why he has chosen to stay away from tattoos, saying the decision reflects how he plans for the future rather than a dislike for body art.
Speaking in a recent interview, the singer explained that he prefers to keep his options open in case life takes an unexpected turn. Although music is currently his career, he believes it is important to have a backup plan.
Shoday revealed that he studied Building Technology, adding that his educational background reminds him that there are opportunities outside the entertainment industry.
According to the singer, he avoids making permanent decisions that could affect his chances of returning to a more conventional profession if he ever decides to leave music.
"I don't have tattoos because I'm a skeptical person. I studied Building Technology. If music doesn't work out, I can always go back to office work," he said.
While tattoos have become increasingly popular among musicians and celebrities as a form of self-expression, Shoday said his personal philosophy is different. For him, thinking long-term and preparing for different possibilities is more important than following industry trends.
His comments have sparked discussions online, with many fans applauding his practical mindset. Others noted that his remarks serve as a reminder that success in entertainment can be unpredictable, making it wise for creatives to have skills or qualifications to rely on beyond fame.
