Nigerian actor and former reality star Saga Adeoluwa has shared that he finds kissing scenes in films uncomfortable and would rather avoid them if possible.

Speaking on the Nolly Icons podcast, he explained that such moments are often misunderstood by viewers, who assume actors enjoy them. He clarified that these scenes are mainly performed to serve the storyline, not for personal satisfaction.

Reflecting on his experience, Adeoluwa said he has never found onscreen kissing enjoyable, describing it as awkward and intrusive. He added that the nature of the act can make it difficult for performers, especially when repeated multiple times during filming.

He also pointed out that actors should be recognised for handling such scenes professionally rather than being judged. Recalling a demanding moment on set, he said he once had to perform kissing scenes with several actresses in a single day.

According to him, while criticism may come from the public, there should also be an understanding of the challenges involved in bringing such scenes to life.
