After days of online speculation, Nollywood actress Rosy Meurer has finally spoken up about the rumours surrounding her marriage to businessman Olakunle Churchill.

The actress dismissed claims that she unfollowed her husband on Instagram, describing the reports as false and unnecessary.

 According to her, she has been following Churchill on the platform since 2017 and has no reason to stop now.
Rosy made it clear that her marriage is peaceful and that she is well treated, insisting that the online narrative does not reflect her reality.

She also questioned why the rumour surfaced at a time when Churchill was celebrating a reunion with his son from his previous marriage to actress Tonto Dikeh.

Currently in Cancun, Mexico, where she is marking her birthday, Rosy explained that her husband remained in Lagos to spend time with his son. She said the decision was mutual and based on understanding, as he had not seen the child in a long while.

According to her, she was happy to give him the space to reconnect with his son and allow his children enjoy the presence of their father.

Expressing frustration over constant speculation about her private life, Rosy declared that she was taking back control of her story.

“Enough is enough. It’s time I control my own narrative. It’s my life and my story, and no one else gets to tell it,” she wrote.

With her statement, the actress has put the rumours to rest, stressing that there is no crisis in her marriage, only unnecessary assumptions fueled by social media.
