Portable is calling out Terry G for a celebrity boxing match, and he's framing it as a career favour.

The singer, real name Habeeb Okikiola, made the challenge on Channels Television's 'Rubbin' Minds', arguing a bout between them would put Terry G back in the spotlight.

"I want to fight Terry G. If Terry G fights me, one-on-one in boxing, he will rise again. People will remember him again," he said.

The callout lands after a mixed run in the ring for Portable. He beat actor Charles Okocha by decision in December 2023 and knocked out rapper Speed Darlington in April 2025, but suffered his first loss in May 2026, falling to skit maker Carter Efe by unanimous decision at Chaos in the Ring 4.

He's not letting that one go. "I will go again with Carter Efe. I will beat him," he said, adding plans for an Okocha rematch before a London engagement.

Portable also shut down rumours of a rift with Olamide, the YBNL boss who backed him early in his career. "I did not fight Olamide. He's my helper," he said.

He made a bolder claim on the music side, insisting no Nigerian artist can win a Grammy without his involvement.
