The management of Nigerian dancer and singer Poco Lee has denied reports that drink-spiking forms part of the allegations against him in an ongoing sexual assault case in the United Kingdom.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 25, the management and legal team said the case is before a UK court and urged the public to disregard unverified claims surrounding the proceedings. In their words:

“We ask the public and media to desist from introducing details that are not part of the actual case, as doing so only fuels misinformation and causes unfair prejudice to all parties involved.”

The team specifically addressed reports linking the case to drink-spiking, saying the claim does not form part of the allegations or charges before the court.

The statement also urged the public and media not to treat allegations as proof of guilt while the case is still before the court.

Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, is scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15, 2026, for plea and trial preparation.

His management said further information on the case would be communicated through the appropriate channels.
