Pastor Chris Okafor’s Daughter Set to Take Legal Action Over Alleged Assault
Amara, the second daughter of Grace Nation Bible Ministry founder Pastor Chris Okafor, is reportedly preparing to file charges against her father following claims that he physically assaulted her.
The fresh allegation comes in the middle of the ongoing public dispute between the clergyman and Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who has been making a series of accusations against him in recent months.
Last December, Doris accused Pastor Okafor of failing to honour a marriage promise after several years of what she described as a private relationship. She also alleged that the pastor had inappropriate relationships with some married members of his church.
Following those claims, Doris was arrested, a move that further fueled public attention around the controversy.
After her release from police custody, Doris revealed that she turned down an alleged $10,000 settlement offer, which she said was made after a private meeting with the pastor at the police station.
In a new update shared on her Instagram page on Friday, Doris claimed that Amara has now decided to take legal action against her father over an alleged violent incident at their home.
According to Doris, Amara confronted her father after witnessing him bring married church members into the house. She alleged that the confrontation turned physical and that Amara was attacked and injured in the process.
Doris also shared videos online showing what she described as evidence of the assault. She accused Pastor Okafor of beating his daughter and leaving her badly hurt.
“How can a father do this to his own daughter? This is too much,” Doris wrote.
“She caught him with a married church member, and things turned violent. Thank God Amara is ready to press charges now.”
The allegations have sparked outrage online, with many Nigerians calling for a full investigation into the matter and urging authorities to ensure that justice is served.
As of the time of this report, Pastor Okafor has not publicly responded to the latest claims.
