Governor Seyi Makinde has approved a 16-hour curfew in 10 Local Government Areas in Oyo State.

The curfew will run from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily, starting Wednesday, 24 June 2026. It is set for an initial 48 hours.

The curfew covers areas around Old Oyo National Park: Oriire, Orelope, Irepo, Saki West, Saki East, Atisbo, Itesiwaju, Iseyin, Olorunsogo, and Atiba.

Residents in the affected LGAs are urged to comply and stay indoors during curfew hours.
