Nollywood actress Omeche Oko is currently receiving medical attention after a motorcycle accident on a Lagos film set left her with a broken leg on Wednesday. 

Oko was a passenger on a motorcycle being operated by fellow actor Victory Michael during the filming of a scene when the bike collided with a metal pole attached to a vehicle barrier at the location. The impact caused Michael to lose control, throwing Oko to the ground. 

Michael hit his chest on the pole and briefly lost consciousness. Crew members and colleagues rushed both actors to an undisclosed medical facility for treatment. 

The accident happened three days before the actress's birthday. 

Oko shared video footage of the crash on her Instagram page, reflecting on the incident. "Life is very very fragile. It could have been a different story but God said No. If you see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is thank you God," she wrote. 

Her post drew an outpouring of concern from fans, with many also praying for the motorcycle rider's recovery. Several of her colleagues including Mofe Duncan, Chinenye Nnebe, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Nosa Rex, and producers Uche Nancy and Toyosi Etim Effiong also shared well wishes in the comments.
