Digital media entrepreneur Olufemi Oguntamu has advised content creators not to judge the value or success of their work based on reactions in the comment section.

Speaking during a session on the YouTube economy at the Africa Creative Market in Lusaka, Zambia, Oguntamu said online comments do not always reflect the true impact of a creator's content. He encouraged creators to focus on consistency, audience value and long-term growth instead of seeking validation from social media users.

The event was hosted by Oma Areh and formed part of the Africa Creative Market, organised in partnership with Zambia's Ministry of Youth, Sports and Arts.

Oguntamu's message resonated with participants, highlighting the importance of creating meaningful content without allowing praise or criticism in comment sections to determine its worth.
