Nigerian contestant Oma Iruomachukwu Osele has won the inaugural Miss Continental World 2026 pageant, held in Ayutthaya, Thailand, on October 9.

Osele emerged as the overall winner ahead of India’s Shreeya Panda, who finished as first runner-up, and Thailand’s Pornpaya Rianju, who placed second runner-up, according to reports published after the competition.

The Nigerian representative also won the Queen of Africa and Best National Attire awards at the event, adding two titles to her overall victory.

The Queen of Africa title recognises the highest-placing African contestant, while the Best National Attire award recognises a contestant’s cultural costume presentation.

Her success followed an earlier win in September, when she received the World Premiere Award after topping an online fan vote on Eventista’s 1Vote platform. The result was announced before the international finals, which ran from October 6 to 10.

Osele represented Nigeria through EliteGlam Nigeria, a pageantry platform associated with Em’kay Oku Limited. The organisation congratulated her following the announcement of her victory.

The Miss Continental World competition was organised by the Continental World Organization under the theme “Evolve With Love.” At its launch event in Bangkok on August 31, the organisation identified cultural exchange, wellbeing and sustainability as three central pillars of the competition.

The 2026 edition brought together female and male contestants representing countries, with the finals and coronation held at Ayutthaya City Park.

Nigeria also secured a placement in the male competition, as Sambo Unwana Essien finished third runner-up at Mister Continental World 2026. He also won the King of Kings and Best National Attire awards.

India’s Karnajit Ningthoujam won the Mister Continental World 2026 title, according to reports published after the event.

Osele’s victory made her the first winner of the Miss Continental World title following the launch of the international pageant in 2026.
