Davido's first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has claimed she is the sole provider for their daughter Imade's needs, in comments made during a live session on Saturday that quickly spread across social media.

Addressing viewers directly during the broadcast, Momodu said: "Na only me my pikin get, nor be audio money. If bill come now from up, down, na me go settle am. Una know as e dey go. Make una leave all these audio money."

The remarks distinguished her and what she called "audio money," implying that whatever support exists for Imade comes from her rather than from Davido.

Reactions online were split. Some users found the comment amusing, with one writing that they were grateful Davido never married her. Others pushed back, pointing to recent public appearances of Davido with Imade and questioning the consistency of her claim, with one commenter asking which version of events fans were supposed to believe.

The comments add another chapter to Momodu and Davido's long, publicly contested co-parenting history.

The pair were previously locked in a custody dispute over Imade before Davido dropped the case and explained his reasoning at the time. Momodu has also repeatedly found herself at the center of online friction, including a separate incident where she clashed with a critic on Snapchat who questioned her lifestyle and asked whether she planned to settle down.
