‘₦400 million is no money’ — King Ochacho Says
Real estate mogul King Ochacho has described the ₦400 million mansion he gifted TikTok personality Peller and his wife, Jarvis, as insignificant, saying bigger gifts are already on the way.
Speaking during a TikTok livestream on Monday, two days after the couple's wedding in Lagos, Ochacho downplayed the scale of the gift. "₦400 million is no money. ₦400 million is just ₦400 as far as Ice King, Money Man, Ochacho Real Estate is concerned. It's small money to them," he said, adding that the mansion would not be the biggest thing Peller receives from him.
The gesture traces back to a promise Ochacho made months earlier at music executive Soso Soberekon's wedding, where Peller had jokingly invited him to his own upcoming ceremony. "When I met you at Soso's wedding, I was jokingly inviting you to my wedding. I didn't know you would come, but you surprised me. Inside your surprise, another surprise still come dey inside," Peller said at the reception.
Born in Kaduna State in 1977, Ochacho built his fortune through Ochacho Real Homes and the wider Ochacho Group, with interests spanning real estate and hospitality. He has cultivated close ties within Nigeria's entertainment industry over the years, frequently appearing alongside figures including 2Baba, Zlatan Ibile, and Peruzzi.
