Mayowa Lambe has spoken about her views on love and emotional boundaries following her separation from Roby Ekpo and her subsequent remarriage.

Her comments come after Roby Ekpo publicly discussed their past relationship on a podcast, where he alleged that she left him despite what he described as personal sacrifices during their time together. The renewed attention around their breakup has brought Lambe’s perspective back into public discussion.

Lambe explained that she is someone who develops strong emotional attachment once she falls in love, often becoming deeply invested in the relationship. She noted that when she is emotionally committed, she may remain in situations even when she is aware that they are not ideal.

However, she stressed that her tolerance has a clear limit when it comes to respect. According to her, any form of serious disrespect acts as an immediate trigger that changes how she feels about a partner.

She described this shift as sudden and irreversible, saying that once that boundary is crossed, her emotional attachment ends completely and she disengages from the relationship without hesitation. She also emphasised that she does not operate in emotional middle grounds, either remaining fully committed or completely detached.

Lambe’s remarks add further context to ongoing public interest in her past relationship with Ekpo and the circumstances surrounding their separation and her remarriage.
