Juma Jux speaks on weight loss, says he has no desire to be chubby
Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has addressed growing concerns about his slimmer appearance, saying he is comfortable with his current physique and has no intention of gaining weight.
The singer made the remarks in a video after fans repeatedly commented on his noticeable weight loss following his appearance at Peller's traditional wedding, where he attended with his wife, Priscilla Ojo.
Reacting to the speculation, Jux dismissed suggestions that he should add more weight, insisting that he is happy with how he looks.
"I like myself now. They want me to be chubby, but I don't want to be chubby. I don't want my stomach to be bigger. I don't want to be like that," he said.
The conversation reportedly began after Priscilla encouraged him to respond to the questions many fans had been asking online about his appearance during a Snapchat video.
That prompted Jux to respond directly, explaining that his appearance is intentional and not something he plans to change simply because of public opinion.
