Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie has reflected on the physical and emotional toll of carrying her son while managing multiple fibroids, describing the journey as one that stretched her in ways her public glow never showed.

In an Instagram video, the Blood Sisters star said the experience was magical but far from easy.

"Carrying a baby while navigating multiple fibroids is a story for another day. Some moments stretched me physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were days that felt really hard," she wrote.

She said the hardest part was the contrast between her inner struggle and how people perceived her from the outside. "It always makes me smile when people tell me, 'You looked so happy,' 'You were glowing,' or 'You made pregnancy look so easy.' If only you knew. But God..."

Ini was first diagnosed with fibroids in 2017. She underwent a myomectomy in November 2020, but revealed in July 2024 that the condition had returned. Rather than opt for another surgery, she pursued a holistic approach and monitored the fibroids with lifestyle changes.

She announced her pregnancy on April 22, 2026, through an emotional social media reveal, describing it as a miracle and crediting what she called God's perfect timing.

On June 24, her 36th birthday, she announced the arrival of her baby boy, making it her first birthday as a mother. She is married to Abasi Ene-Obong.

In her post, Ini also extended a prayer to women facing similar struggles, asking that their stories end in praise.
