Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen has said he hopes to return to school and earn a university degree once his football career winds down.

He explained that a football career typically spans just 20 to 25 years, making it important to plan for life after the sport.

"I'd love to go back to school and earn a degree because football only lasts 20-25 years. I already have investments, but I want to prove you can drop out, become successful, and still return to school to finish your education," he said.

Osimhen noted that he has already made investments to secure his future, but completing his education remains a personal goal.

He added that he wants his story to show it is possible to leave school, succeed in another field, and later return to finish an academic journey.
