Nigerian socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has revealed that he once dreamed of becoming a Catholic priest.

He shared a throwback photo on Instagram of himself as a junior seminarian, reflecting on his late mother's influence and the faith that shaped his early years.

"This was me growing up; I wanted to be a Catholic priest; I was always at the Blessed Sacrament with my late mother. I got admission to the seminary school; I went, and I saw but couldn't conquer because many are called, but few are chosen," he wrote.

He recalled taking part in morning masses, benedictions, charismatic renewal sessions, block rosary and processions, saying those experiences were not in vain.

He also expressed grief that his late mother, who introduced him to the Catholic faith, did not live to witness his success.

"The most painful pain I live with is that my mother, who drew me close to Mother Mary, is no longer here with me to witness the greatness from Ave Maria," he added.
