'I Don't Collaborate With Vulgar Skit Makers' — Kiekie
Content creator and actress, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has opened up on why she avoids collaborating with certain skit makers in the industry.
Speaking during a recent podcast interview, she said brand alignment is her major consideration before any partnership.
"I would never collaborate with any skit maker that is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them," she said. Asked to name specific creators, Kiekie declined.
"Let me think about it. Hmmm. I don't have a name of one, but I have seen quite a number of them. So if you're too much breasts, bumbum, not that I have a problem with it but it's just brand alignment," she said.
She stressed that steering clear of such collaborations is not a judgment on other creators.
"My inability to collaborate with you doesn't mean that I look down on what you do or I don't respect what you do or I don't see your hard work. I recognise your hard work, but we just don't align. It will affect the way my own brands are approaching my own work," she added.
Kiekie has maintained a similar stance in past interviews, previously stating that she avoids sexual content because it does not fit the brand she has built.
