Nigerian singer Niniola Apata has shared a raw, emotional tribute to her late husband, Michael, leaving fans in tears.

‎In a series of Instagram story, the Maradona singer opened up about her grief with the words: “I Cannot live without Michael.”

‎Niniola went further pouring out her pain directly to God:

‎“God, You could’ve taken my kidney, an arm or a leg. You should’ve even taken me instead. But that one person that made my life worth it, you took away from me… We did not disturb anybody o. Just living lives on our own terms… What a Jealous God you truly are… Cos you had the power to spare him but decided to flex muscles… KUKUMA finish what you started na… I’m Ready.”

‎The singer also posted a photo from what appears to be her court wedding in the US.

‎The posts have drawn an outpouring of support. Many fans said they didn’t know Niniola was married, as she kept her relationship extremely private. Others sent prayers and words of comfort, noting how painful and honest her message was.

‎Niniola, known for her strong vocals and upbeat Afro-house hits, has rarely spoken about her personal life. This is the first time she’s publicly addressed her marriage or the loss of her husband.
