Nigerian singer FOLA has announced August 19 as the release date for his upcoming single, ‘Attention’, sharing a 63-second visual teaser on X.

The singer posted the clip on Monday with the caption, “See you on Wednesday 19/08,” confirming Wednesday as the date attached to the new release.

The announcement comes shortly after FOLA’s latest single, ‘Treat U Right’, a collaboration with Ayra Starr, released in July. The song was issued through Dangbana Republik Records and EMPIRE and reached No. 7 on the Official Afrobeats Chart in the UK.

There are also indications that the song could feature Olamide, although the rapper’s involvement has not been officially confirmed by FOLA or his team.

FOLA, whose real name is Folarin Odunlami, is signed to Dangbana Republik and has built his catalogue around songs including ‘Ginger Me’, ‘Alone’, ‘One Condition’, and his 2025 album ‘CATHARSIS’. His official website lists ‘Treat U Right’ and ‘fine ting (fine $hit)’ among his 2026 releases.
