Nigerian DJ and entrepreneur Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, is considering leaving social media and moving to the countryside for a quieter lifestyle.

Cuppy shared the thought on X on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, revealing that she was considering deleting her social media accounts, moving away from the city and buying three goats.

“Just still thinking about deleting social media, moving to the countryside and buying 3 goats. Nothing major,” she wrote.

In an earlier post, Cuppy talked about deleting Twitter, moving to a small countryside village, getting three goats and going into hiding until Jesus returns.

However, Cuppy has not announced that she is quitting social media or moving to the countryside. Her latest statement only indicates that she is considering the decision, while she remains active on her social media space.

The idea of taking a break from social media is not new for the DJ. In January 2026, Cuppy announced that she would be stepping away from social media to spend time alone and reconnect with God.

She also began a 21-day fast during the break, describing the period as a time to reset and reconnect. Cuppy returned to social media in February after completing the break.
