Afrobeats star Davido has shared that his father, billionaire businessman Adedeji Adeleke, still gives him money despite his own success in music.

Speaking during a recent interview, the singer said his father enjoys supporting his children and does not hesitate to reward them when they achieve something meaningful.

Davido explained that even though he has built a successful career and earned wealth on his own, his father still surprises him with financial gifts from time to time.

The singer recalled one occasion when his father attended his arena concert and later sent him $300,000 after being impressed by the performance.

He also stressed that although he grew up in a wealthy home, he remained determined to build his own name and career in the entertainment industry rather than depend completely on his family’s influence.
