Comedian Deeone has criticised music star Davido over his absence at the wedding of his longtime friend and associate, Soso Soberekon, held in Warri, Delta State, over the weekend.

Speaking in a video shared online, Deeone expressed surprise that Davido neither attended the ceremony nor publicly congratulated Soberekon on social media despite their long-standing friendship and business relationship.

According to the comedian, Davido's absence was unexpected given the close bond the pair have maintained over the years. He argued that fans would have expected the singer to either honour the invitation with his presence or acknowledge the occasion with a congratulatory message.

Neither Davido nor Soso Soberekon has publicly responded to Deeone's remarks as of the time of filing this report.
