The Grammy winner, born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, pulled 644 million monthly listeners on the platform.

He also has 6.41 million subscribers, the highest among his peers.

Davido comes closest with 25.4 million monthly listeners and 5.04 million subscribers.

Wizkid follows with 24.2 million monthly listeners and 3.67 million subscribers.

Asake has 11.6 million monthly listeners and 2.06 million subscribers.

Seyi Vibez rounds out the top five with 3.28 million monthly listeners and 500,000 subscribers.

Rema, Omah Lay, BNXN, Young Jonn and Odumodublvck complete the platform's Nigerian top 10.

The feat adds to Burna Boy's strong run this year. He recently became the African artist with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify, hitting 46.84 million to break Tyla's previous record of 46.58 million.

The growth has been linked to "Dai Dai," his collaboration with Shakira, which was picked as the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
