Nigerian singer and songwriter Bloody Civilian has called on parents, particularly in Northern Nigeria, to support the dreams of young creatives before they achieve fame and recognition.

Speaking during an appearance on TVC's Wake Up Nigeria, the artist reflected on her journey to success, revealing that she received little support in the early stages of her career.

According to Bloody Civilian, public perception changed after she secured a placement on Marvel's Black Panther soundtrack, a milestone that brought her widespread recognition.

"I did not have support until I gained my Black Panther placement. I just want northern parents to support young people before things start to take off," she said.

The singer stressed the importance of believing in young people's ambitions from the outset rather than waiting until they become successful. She noted that early encouragement can play a significant role in helping aspiring creatives build confidence and pursue their goals.
