Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has criticised fellow musicians for allegedly failing to support his newly released song, “Chanel”.

The rapper, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, described the music industry as “wicked” and accused some artistes of showing double standards despite the support he claimed to have given them in the past.

In a post shared on X, Blaqbonez said none of his colleagues had promoted “Chanel” since its release. He stated that he regularly supports other artistes by posting their music on his social media pages whenever they release new projects.

The rapper mentioned international stars including Drake, Central Cee, Future and Gunna, saying he had promoted their songs but did not receive similar support in return.

According to him, the silence from colleagues came despite his belief that “Chanel” is one of the biggest songs released this summer. He described the situation as unfair and disappointing.
