Nigerian singer Brymo has claimed that fellow music star 2Baba once confronted his then-wife, Annie Macaulay-Idibia, over whether she had been intimate with him.

Speaking on the NotJustOk podcast, Brymo reflected on his past relationships with married women while warning younger artistes against engaging in affairs with other people's wives. 

Recalling an encounter he said took place in 2019 at Naomi's office in Lekki Phase 1, the singer alleged that 2Baba asked Annie, in his presence, if she had slept with him.

“I remember that moment in 2019 at Naomi’s office in Lekki Phase 1 when 2Face looked me straight in the eyes and asked, ‘Annie, you don f**k Brymo?’ I’ll never forget it. I’m wicked; you people don’t know me. I met quite many older women who were truly married, but they would tell me they were separated from their husbands. This goes to younger artistes: stop sleeping with people’s wives. They will cut your life short.”

Neither 2Baba nor Annie Macaulay-Idibia has publicly responded to Brymo's allegations as of the time of writing.

Brymo has previously made headlines over comments about his relationships with female colleagues. 

During a 2023 interview, he revealed that he had asked singers Simi and Efya, among others, for sex in exchange for music collaborations, a disclosure that sparked widespread reactions online.
