Nigerian crypto trader and TikTok personality Ahmed XM, real name Ahmed Yusuf, and his first wife, Safiya Umar, have reconciled following their public split last year.

Photos from a renewal or nikah ceremony between the pair surfaced online on June 19, showing the couple alongside family members.

The marriage made headlines in 2025 after Ahmed took on a second wife, Safeera Abba Mukhtar, a former partner he had reportedly separated from in 2023 over family objections. Ahmed and Safiya married in 2024, and the union produced a daughter. News of the second marriage drew backlash online, with many accusing Ahmed of disrespecting Safiya.

Neither Ahmed nor Safiya has issued a public statement on the renewal of their vows.
