Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has won the Best International Act category at the 2026 Liberian Entertainment Awards.

The award was presented on April 25 at the Lisner Auditorium in Washington, D.C., where he beat other nominees including Gunna, Rema and Tyla.

The win was later confirmed by ChartsAfrica in a post shared on X on Monday.

Davido’s latest achievement adds to his growing list of international recognition, as Nigerian artistes continue to gain visibility on global stages amid the rising global popularity of Afrobeats.

The Liberian Entertainment Awards, established in 2009, honour outstanding contributions across music, film, fashion, sports and community service, with a focus on celebrating Liberian talents both at home and in the diaspora.
