Businessman Olakunle Churchill has refuted reports suggesting a split from actress Rosy Meurer, maintaining that there was no formal marriage to dissolve.

Addressing the issue on Instagram, he described the divorce claims as misleading, explaining that their relationship did not include any legally binding ceremony such as a court or church wedding. He said the arrangement between them stopped at an introduction, making talk of divorce unfounded.

He also cast doubt on reports of any legal action, stating that he had not been served court papers and questioning how such processes could take place without due procedure. Churchill further criticised what he described as poor guidance influencing the situation, including claims of rushed legal actions.

The businessman used the opportunity to reflect on his past marriage with Tonto Dikeh, noting that both parties have since settled their differences privately. He stressed that their issues were personal and should not have drawn outside involvement.

Commenting on Meurer’s place in his life, he downplayed narratives portraying her support as exceptional, saying events could have turned out differently if circumstances had changed.

The reaction follows fresh public interest after Meurer shared a video reintroducing herself without his surname or a wedding ring, describing it as a new chapter focused on her career and personal growth.
