Singer Zlatan Ibile has announced plans to return to his alma mater, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), for a free concert on July 1, 2026.

The event, tagged "Homecoming," will hold at the MAPOLY Sports Centre in Ogun State and will be free for students.

Beyond the performance, Zlatan is also set to unveil a newly established music studio on campus, aimed at supporting aspiring musicians, producers, and content creators with access to professional recording equipment.

The singer, who studied at MAPOLY before breaking into the Nigerian music industry, described the institution as the foundation of his career.

"MAPOLY made me before the world knew my name. Same ground, same dream, same hunger that carried me everywhere. Now I'm coming back home," he wrote on Instagram.

Zlatan had earlier received the MAPOLY Students' Union Government president, who secured his commitment to perform at the institution's SUG Week activities.
