Nigerian singer Victony has announced a remix of his song ‘Slick’, featuring American R&B singer Summer Walker and rapper Don Toliver, scheduled for release at midnight on Friday, October 16, 2026.

The singer announced the collaboration on Thursday, October 15, with a post on X promoting the track with the message, “Slick RMX - Out midnight.” The remix brings together the three artists after the original song recorded strong chart performances in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Released in July 2026, ‘Slick’ became Victony’s first solo song to top Nigeria’s Official Top 100 chart, where it spent three consecutive weeks at No. 1, according to Notjustok. The song also reached No. 2 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart and topped the UK Official Afrobeats Chart.

Walker’s involvement follows her own cover of ‘Slick’, which she shared online in August. Her version attracted attention from listeners who called for an official collaboration with Victony. She now joins the Nigerian singer on the remix, alongside Toliver.

Toliver previously collaborated with Victony on the expanded version of ‘Soweto’, which also featured Rema and producer Tempoe. Released in 2023, that version helped introduce the Nigerian singer’s music to a wider international audience.

The original ‘Slick’ also features on Victony’s second studio album, STARLIFE, released on August 21, 2026. The 15-track project includes songs such as ‘FRE$H’ and features appearances from several Nigerian artists.

The remix arrives as the original continues its run on the UK Official Afrobeats Chart, where it has spent 13 consecutive weeks at No. 1, according to the Official Charts Company’s chart history dated October 17, 2026.
