Nigerian singer Spyro has sparked conversations online after opening up about how he met his wife, revealing that their love story began at a nightclub.

Speaking during a recent interview, the singer explained that although they first crossed paths in a club, his wife was not there to party. According to him, she was working at the venue, a detail he felt was important to clarify because of the assumptions people often make about nightlife. 

Spyro said their relationship did not start immediately. Instead, they became friends first before their bond gradually grew into something deeper.

“I met my wife in the club, but she wasn't doing rubbish. She was just working there. We became friends first, then one day my eyes just opened, and I ended up marrying her,” he said.
