Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has revealed the full name of her second child with partner Adekunle Gold as she shared photos from his dedication ceremony.

Simi shared the photos on Sunday, August 9, giving her followers a first look at the celebration held after the church service and officially introducing her son as Adeifemi Oba Ajani Kosoko.

The singer had previously kept details about the child private. She and Adekunle Gold welcomed their second child on March 10, 2026, but did not publicly announce his arrival until April 1, when Simi shared maternity photos and confirmed that they had welcomed another child.

In her Instagram post, Simi said:

“ADEIFEMI OBA AJANI KOSOKO, Omo Simisola, Omo Adekunle, Aburo Adejare, Jesus Baby, Kaabo. We dedicate you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. You abide in the shelter of the Most High and dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. I bless God for you. I speak life, joy, good health, peace into your body, your mind, your spirit, your soul. I commit you into the hands of Jesus Christ. God keep you and cause His face to shine on you. I love you, Fresh Prince. My lil Champ. My lil Pop. My baby boy”

Adekunle Gold also reacted to the post, referring to Simi as “Mama Oba,” a Yoruba expression meaning “the King’s mother.”

Simi and Adekunle Gold, who married in 2019, are also parents to their first child, Adejare.
