Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has been dealing with severe pain and difficulty moving freely for several months, sharing details of her health challenges in a video posted on her 25th birthday, Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The actress appeared in a wheelchair in the video, where she explained that what began as a minor health problem eventually worsened, leaving her unable to move at times.

“For several months now, I lost my freedom to move around as I please,” Daniels said, describing the impact of the condition on her daily life.

She also disclosed that she had undergone repeated medical tests while trying to address the problem, jokingly referring to herself as a “lab rat” because of the examinations.

According to the actress, her condition worsened after a Children's Day carnival she hosted in May. She said there were periods when she could walk normally, while at other times, the pain left her unable to move.

The actress also spoke about developments in her recovery, expressing gratitude to God as she marked another year. However, she did not publicly identify the medical condition responsible for the symptoms or disclose details of a specific diagnosis.

The birthday video also provided an update on changes to her living arrangements. Daniels said she had moved closer to her medical facilities and her two children, explaining that she initially rented the property before making a down payment to own it.

She added that some of the items in the house, including furniture, a solar power system, and a television, were gifts from people around her.

Regina, who began acting as a child, turned 25 on October 10. She has featured in numerous Nollywood productions and remains a prominent figure in Nigeria's entertainment industry.

Her latest disclosure offers a public account of the health difficulties she has faced in recent months, although the cause of the condition and the timeline for her full recovery remain unclear.
