Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been charged with five sexual offences in the United Kingdom.

The charges were confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London and include attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

James Baker, the court’s Admin Team Leader, confirmed the charges in an email to PUNCH, writing:

“The defendant has been charged with attempted rape, 2x Rape, 2x Assault by penetration.”

The development follows reports that Poco Lee was detained in the UK earlier this month. His next court appearance is scheduled for September 15, 2026, at Snaresbrook Crown Court for plea and trial preparation.

The court has also imposed a reporting restriction to protect the anonymity of the complainant.

Poco Lee’s management and legal team previously urged the public to allow the case to go through due process, stating:

“Allegations are not evidence of guilt, and no conclusions should be drawn until the matter has been heard and determined through the appropriate legal process.”

The case remains ongoing.
