Singer Peter Okoye has thanked fans after his Zipp Republic fashion brand sold nearly 3,000 Red ZR caps within seven days.

Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, shared the sales figure on Sunday, August 9, saying the response to the cap had exceeded his expectations and left the brand dealing with a surge in orders.

“Guys, we honestly didn’t see this coming. Almost 3,000 Red ZR CAPS sold in the last 7 days, and more orders still pumping in every second. We are overwhelmed with orders right now, so please be a little patient with us. We promise every single order will be delivered ASAP,” he added.

The Red ZR cap gained increased attention after Okoye wore it throughout his recent eight-part video series in which he addressed the long-running dispute involving his twin brother, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.

The series, which began on July 30, has seen Okoye recount his version of the events surrounding the repeated break-ups of P-Square and the financial disagreements within the family.
