Comedian Funnybone stirs debate after declaring "karma is outdated"
Nigerian comedian Funnybone has stirred reactions online after sharing a controversial perspective on karma and morality.
Taking to social media, the comedian argued that bad people often escape negative consequences and that being a good person does not guarantee a reward.
"Karma is outdated," Funnybone wrote. "Nothing will happen to the people who wronged you. Bad people actually outlive the good ones. Nobody is necessarily paying for their wrongdoing. Being good is a choice, and it doesn't always come with a reward."
He further advised people to focus on their own paths rather than expecting cosmic justice, adding that wrongdoers often continue to thrive.
"Choose a side and stick to it," he added. "The world won't stop rotating because someone wronged you, and the person who wronged you won't necessarily stop doing well because they wronged you."
His post has since drawn mixed reactions from social media users, fueling debates on morality, justice, and personal outlooks on life.
