Nigerian comedian and content creator Carter Efe has said Wizkid ignored a song he made for the singer, while crediting Davido with changing his life after supporting him during a difficult period.

Carter Efe made the remarks during an interview with Madame Joyce, where he discussed his experiences with both Afrobeats stars.

Speaking about Davido, Carter said he would continue to publicly praise the singer because of the support he received from him.

“I’ll keep praising Davido everywhere I go. Davido is my helper,” Carter said.

He said Davido came through for him when he was going through a difficult period and described the singer’s impact on his life as immediate.

“Davido came to my life and changed my life in two seconds,” he said.

Carter also spoke about his experience with Wizkid, claiming that he made a song for the singer but received no response.

“I did a song for Wizkid, that guy snubbed my whole life,” he said.

He added that he did not expect to have personal conversations with Davido because of the difference in their profiles, but appreciated that the singer still showed him support.

“Who am I to say I want to sit down with Davido or he wants to be having conversations with me? I’m too small, but David shows me love. He came through,” Carter said.

Carter described Davido’s support as coming at a time when he needed it, calling the singer “God-sent” when things were difficult for him.
