Nigerian comedian and actor Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has broken his silence after months away from public view.

Shaggi, in an emotional message shared with his followers, thanked those who continued to check on him and show him support during his absence.

“To everyone who's still here… waiting, checking in, showing love, and holding me down even through the silence, thank you. I don't think y'all truly understand how much that means to me,” he wrote.

The comedian acknowledged that he had not been able to show up for his fans as he would have wanted, but said their continued support meant a lot to him.

“Even when I haven't been able to show up the way I wanted to, knowing that y'all are still here has meant more than I can put into words,” he added.

Shaggi also assured his followers that he would return with renewed energy.

“And when it does, I promise I'm coming back better, stronger, and ready to make up for all this lost time,” he said.

His message comes months after he stepped away from public view, with reports about his absence emerging earlier this year.
