Billionaire's Son Siraheem Okoya Quits Music
Fast-rising recording artist Siraheem, whose real name is Subomi "Raheem" Okoya, has officially announced his departure from the music industry, citing the growing difficulty of balancing his artistic passion with executive corporate responsibilities.
The artist released a signed statement titled "Professional Exit From the Music Industry," confirming that he will no longer release new records.
"I've always believed in giving everything my best and I no longer feel I can give this craft the effort, patience, and dedication it truly deserves," Siraheem stated.
Siraheem is the son of Nigerian billionaire industrialist Chief Razaq Okoya and Dr. Shade Okoya. Aside from his music career, he serves as an Executive Director at Eleganza Industrial City Ltd., his family’s manufacturing conglomerate. After debuting in the Afrobeats scene with tracks such as "Bad Bitch" and "Credit Alert," the demands of managing major corporate operations alongside studio production ultimately forced him to choose between business and entertainment.
Addressing his supporters, Siraheem emphasised that while his time as an active recording artist is over, he will continue exploring creative fields and business ventures. He also hinted that a fully recorded, unreleased album from his recent studio sessions might eventually be made public.
"Music still remains therapeutic for me. With time, maybe the album finds its way into the world somehow after all," he added.
His announcement has drawn widespread attention across social media, with listeners and industry observers following his transition from recording artist back into full-time corporate leadership.
