Nigerian singer Ayra Starr has responded to TikTok users who took shots at her body, trading sarcastic replies with some of the commenters.

The singer addressed the comments in a TikTok comment section after users made remarks about her physique.

One user wrote, “Look what a strong body can do,” alongside a GIF, to which Ayra replied, “Look what a nobody can do.”

She also replied to another user who wrote, “Breathe,” with the comment, “You took all the air,” accompanied by a GIF.

The exchanges quickly drew attention, with some of Ayra Starr’s replies receiving thousands of likes on TikTok.

Comments about Ayra Starr’s appearance are not entirely new. The singer has previously faced criticism online over her body, outfits and the way she presents herself, particularly on social media.

Rather than backing away from her style, Ayra has generally maintained a bold approach to her image. Her 2025 single “Hot Body” also became closely associated with her confident approach to beauty, fashion and self-expression.

This latest exchange, however, was less about explaining herself and more about giving the trolls a taste of their own medicine.
